www.useblackinkonly.com is a curated platform highlighting artists from Wales. It is intended to tap into high profile events in the UK and beyond, inviting artists, curators, writers and musicians to collaborate with us.

Over time, we will build a critical archive of artists work. Rather than simply being a free-for-all database, www.useblackinkonly.com will be a constantly changing look at the wide and diverse range of practice coming in and out of Wales.

For its launch we are using the 50th Venice Biennale as a platform. For the first time, Wales will be represented with its own Pavilion, featuring Cerith Wyn Evans, Simon Pope, Paul Seawright and Bethan Huws.

www.useblackinkonly.com are currently planning their future programme. Possible events being considered for profiling future selections of artists include:

Artes Mundi - Wales International Art Prize
DEPOT
British Art Show 6
Cardiff 2005 (city centenary)
Venice 2005
Liverpool Biennale
